A man who was once arrested for stalking Billie Eilish has died after being struck by a train on Long Island, according to officials and sources.

Prenell Rousseau, 30, was killed early Wednesday morning when an LIRR train hit him in Westbury at around 5:38 a.m.

Authorities said Rousseau was jogging on or near the tracks when the train struck him. A law enforcement source said the death appears to have been accidental.

Rousseau’s name may sound familiar to Billie Eilish fans for a chilling reason.

Back in 2020, he was arrested after repeatedly showing up at the singer’s Los Angeles home, where she lived with her parents. According to court documents, Rousseau came to the property seven times over two days before he was finally taken into custody for trespassing.

Eilish said in legal filings that Rousseau displayed erratic behavior during the disturbing visits.

During his first appearance, he rang the doorbell and asked Eilish’s father through the home surveillance system whether the pop star lived there. Even after being told he had the wrong house, he kept coming back.

At one point, the family called private security as Rousseau returned again later that same night.

In court documents, Eilish described the unnerving scene in detail, saying Rousseau stayed on the porch, sat down, read a book, and continued speaking in what she described as a periodic monologue while refusing repeated demands to leave.

The singer and her family said they were terrified by his behavior. They were also alarmed because several of his visits happened during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and he allegedly touched the doorbell and doorknob without wearing gloves or a face mask.

Eilish was later granted a three-year restraining order against him.

Rousseau had also posted unsettling content on Instagram, including what appeared to be an illustrated image of the singer along with a message reading, “Anyway — I love u b … that is all.”

After Wednesday’s fatal crash, officials said about 100 passengers on board the train were transferred to another LIRR train to finish their trip.

The shocking death has now closed the chapter on a man whose name became tied to one of the pop star’s most frightening stalking ordeals.
