Tiger Woods has been photographed for the first time since getting out of jail following his shocking DUI arrest in Florida.

The golf legend, 50, was taken into custody after a rollover crash near Jupiter Island around 1 p.m. local time on Friday, March 27. Authorities later charged Woods with DUI involving property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

He posted bond and was released the same day. New photos taken after his release show Woods looking visibly upset as he sat in the passenger seat of a car leaving the Martin County jail.

According to officials, the crash involved Woods’ Land Rover and a pressure-cleaning truck that was towing a small trailer. Martin County Sheriff John M. Budensiek said during a press conference that Woods was alone in his vehicle when the accident happened.

Authorities said they were not sure whether Woods was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Even so, officials said he did not appear to suffer any injuries, and the other driver was also not hurt.

Police said Woods showed signs of impairment at the scene and appeared lethargic. However, Budensiek said investigators did not believe alcohol was involved, and that was backed up by a breathalyzer test at the jail, where Woods reportedly blew triple zeroes. Still, officials said he refused to take a urinalysis test.

Woods’ mugshot was released not long after his arrest, sending the story racing across the internet and putting the troubled sports icon back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Tiger Woods Recent Mugshot

This is not the first time Woods has been involved in a serious car crash. In 2021, he suffered major injuries in a Los Angeles wreck that required surgery. He was also involved in another crash back in 2009 near his Florida home, a moment that became one of the biggest scandals of his career.

The timing of this latest incident has only added to the shock. Woods had just returned to competition earlier this week, taking part in the TGL finals in what marked his first event in more than a year. His Jupiter Links GC team ended up losing to the Los Angeles Golf Club.

For now, authorities say the investigation is still ongoing and more information could be released in the coming days. Woods’ representatives have not publicly commented.
