A disturbing McDonald’s painting – dubbed ‘Pennywise’s cousin’ – has been found less than 500 metres away from the fast-food chain’s London headquarters, and some fear that it may be ‘cursed’
A disturbing McDonald’s painting has been found less than 500 metres away from the fast-food chain’s London headquarters, depicting an evil Ronald McDonald grabbing onto a terrified child.
In the painting, spotted in the window of an RSPCA a five-minute walk from the headquarters, Ronald is shown to have sharp teeth and claws, and looks more like the villain from It than the cheerful Happy Meal mascot known the world over.
People have since dubbed the chilling portrait as ‘Pennywise’s cousin’, expressing fears that it might be ‘cursed’. Some have even called for it to be burned, believing it to be haunted.
The painting caught the eye of amateur comedian Ivan Kirby, as he walked along High Road, Finchley, north London on Monday, March 14.
Given the proximity to McDonald’s headquarters, he couldn’t help but wonder if that’s where it originated from.
Ivan, who clocked the framed artwork in the window of East Finchley’s RSPCA shop has since joked that it was a bit of a bargain, with a reasonable £25 price tag.
A signature in the right-hand corner of the picture points towards it having been painted in 2018, meaning the previous owner wouldn’t have kept it in their possession for more than four years.
Ivan has since shared his creepy find on Facebook, where his followers were left completely horrified.
Amanda Hadfield wrote: “No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Jeez, just burn please. It’s going to take someone’s soul”, while Leisha Schoer shuddered: “That needs to be burned, it’s beyond haunted”.
A third commenter, by the name of Lauren Dawson, asked: “What the f**k… that thing is definitely cursed!”
A fourth person, named Sally Mortlock gasped: “McDeath! Poisoning our kids”.
Those in the local area have said that the painting had gone by the next day. However, nobody knows where it is or who bought it.

No one knows where the painting went, or who bought it? The RSPCA doesn’t keep records of what they sell? A cash transaction may not reveal the new owner’s identity, but cash transactions are very rare these days. The subject is a bit disturbing, but the art itself is well-rendered. The artist definitely has real talent.

there have been reports of some McDonalds shutting down because their hamburgers have a percentage of human meat in them speculating that underground child-sacrifice bodies are being disposed of this way. Looks like someone who knows is trying to tell us something.The elite got rid of it quickly. They don’t want us to know.
