The tragic death of “Deadliest Catch” deckhand Todd Meadows is coming into sharper focus — and the details are as heartbreaking as they are chilling.

According to official records, the 25-year-old died from drowning, with probable hypothermia, after being submerged in the freezing waters of the Bering Sea.

The death certificate reveals Todd was pronounced dead at 5:15 p.m. on February 25 following what’s being described as an accident aboard the Aleutian Lady crab fishing vessel off the coast of Alaska.

As previously reported, Todd fell overboard while working during a crabbing operation — a terrifying moment that was reportedly captured by cameras filming for the hit Discovery series.

Despite that, his family has made it clear they do not want any footage of the incident to ever be aired.

The young deckhand’s body was later transported back to Anchorage, where he was cremated.

Todd’s sudden death has left a massive hole in the lives of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife and three children.

In the wake of the tragedy, his family launched a GoFundMe to help cover expenses and support his loved ones — and donations have already poured in, surpassing $56,000.
