David Hasselhoff’s latest public appearance has fans seriously worried.
The 73-year-old “Baywatch” legend was spotted leaving a physical therapy appointment in Los Angeles this week looking noticeably frail as he was pushed through a parking lot in a wheelchair with a heavily bandaged ankle.
The actor, who once ran down beaches in slow motion as TV’s ultimate lifeguard heartthrob, appeared thin and exhausted during the outing, sparking fresh fears about his declining health.
Photos showed Hasselhoff bundled up in a black hoodie, shorts and a gray baseball cap while wearing a brace on one knee and a large wrap around his ankle. His wife, Hayley Roberts, stayed close by his side as she helped him into a waiting vehicle following the appointment.
The troubling sight comes just weeks after reports surfaced claiming the “Knight Rider” star underwent both knee and hip replacement surgeries.
And this isn’t the first time fans have been alarmed.
Back in April, Hasselhoff raised eyebrows when he was photographed relying on a walker during a rare outing with Roberts in Los Angeles’ West Hills neighborhood. At the time, reps for the actor insisted he was simply undergoing physical therapy and recovering from surgery, saying he was “doing well and feeling good.”
But the latest images have only intensified concern among longtime fans of the TV icon.
Even before the walker sighting, Hasselhoff was photographed in a wheelchair at Los Angeles International Airport in May 2025 while heading to Cancun with his wife. During that outing, the actor admitted he was in pain and preparing for knee surgery.
The former TV superstar has battled health scares and personal struggles over the years, making each new sighting a topic of concern among fans who remember him as one of television’s biggest action stars of the 1980s and ’90s.
Hasselhoff and Roberts have been together since 2011 and married in a private ceremony in Italy in 2018. Through every health setback, Roberts has remained by his side.
