Olympic superstar Simone Biles has revealed that three masked men broke into her Chicago-area home and stole her luxury Porsche during the final months she and husband Jonathan Owens were living in the area.
Biles, 29, shared the frightening story in a TikTok posted Monday, Sept. 21, while getting ready to pick up a new vehicle.
“I feel like I need a new car because during our last few months in Chicago, three men in masks came to our house and stole my Porsche. Stole the GTS,” Biles said in the video.
The gymnast confirmed that the Porsche was eventually recovered, but made it clear she was ready to move on from it.
She captioned the TikTok, “yes we recovered the car, onto the next.”

Biles did not reveal exactly when the theft happened, where the Chicago-area home was located or whether she and Owens were inside at the time.
ABC7 Chicago reported Tuesday that it was reaching out to local authorities for more information, meaning many of the details surrounding the reported break-in have yet to be publicly confirmed by police.
Biles suggested there is much more to the story, describing the burglary as a “story for another time.”
She also joked that the bizarre situations she finds herself in could fill an entire reality television series, telling followers that the things happening in her life are “absolutely insanity.”
The break-in apparently had a lasting effect on the couple’s approach to security.
Biles said the incident was one of the reasons she and Owens added a Doberman to their household.
The theft happened during a transitional period for the couple. Owens spent the 2024 and 2025 NFL seasons with the Chicago Bears before signing with the Indianapolis Colts in March.
The Colts officially announced on March 17 that they had signed the veteran safety, who entered the season with 82 career NFL games under his belt.
Biles has since said she plans to spend part of the football season in Indianapolis to support her husband, although the couple’s primary residence remains in Texas.
The Chicago incident also was not the couple’s only unsettling encounter involving an apparent theft attempt this year.
While the pair were in Milan during the 2026 Winter Olympics in February, Owens said someone tried to snatch a shopping bag out of his hand while he was walking through the city. Owens said he had the bag wrapped around his hand, preventing the person from taking it before the would-be thief ran away.
For now, Biles appears ready to put the Porsche incident behind her. She did not identify the replacement vehicle she planned to purchase, and authorities have not publicly announced whether anyone was arrested in connection with the theft.
