Howard Stern had strong thoughts on the Supreme Court’s leaked draft decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, declaring that anti-choice justices such as Clarence Thomas should raise unwanted children themselves.
“All unwanted children should be allowed to live at the Supreme Court building with those justices and they should raise everyone of those babies,” he said on Tuesday’s episode of his SiriusXM radio show. “That crackpot Clarence Thomas and that wife, and all of them, they can raise these babies that they want.”
Building up to his criticism of the Republican-majority court, which has stated that the leaked document does not represent a final decision, Stern took aim at anyone and everyone who helped pave the way.
“How women vote for this agenda is beyond me,” he said. “Who the hell wants to carry a baby that you do not want? And again, the people who carry these babies, who don’t want them, don’t raise these kids and then we’re stuck with them, society is stuck with them.”
The SiriusXM radio host then addressed the hypocrisy of those who bill themselves as “pro-life,” saying, “The people who are anti-abortion, they don’t give to charity, they don’t raise these kids, I don’t know who they think is gonna raise them.”
Things would be different “if men got pregnant,” Stern argued. “No man would want to be raped and then have to carry his rapist’s baby. Men were ready to tear this country down because we asked them to wear a mask, let alone have some baby they don’t want.”
Stern traced the imminent repeal of the 1973 ruling back to the Trump presidency and his appointment of Supreme Court justices who “all agreed that abortion was wrong.”
“Now we have a minority in this country, running the country,” he concluded. “How much more are we gonna take?”
Stern is the latest in Hollywood to express outrage at the leaked opinion, which could be a matter of decision as early as next month. Trevor Noah called the draft decision a “hostile takeover of America’s reproductive rights,” while Stephen Colbert struck out at the justices who side with the draft’s author, Justice Samuel Alito: “Congratulations ladies, decisions about what you can do with your body are now being made with four old dudes and a woman who thinks The Handmaid’s Tale is a rom-com.”

Stern is wrong too. It all starts with individual responsibility. People must prevent children BEFORE they are conceived not dealt with afterwards as a “mistake”. That being said, yes there should be legal abortions, but for instances of rape, incest or life endangerment. Just because I don’t want it is not a valid reason. There are lots of people in society that are not wanted and you just can’t go kill them.

Who says that abortions are paid for by the taxpayers? Most abortions are paid for by the individuals with the problem. How many MEN serving in Vietnam sought out the affections of a young Vietnamese girl because they couldn’t keep their penis in their pants?? How many young Vietnamese girls were raped during that war and were left with an unwanted spawn? Most rapes are done by MEN!! How many adults are we taxpayers paying to stay home because it’s easier to reproduce than to actually work for a living? Stern is a good reason to allow abortions
There are a lot of ‘Howard Stern’ haters here BUT he seems to be the only male who feels that women should be allowed to make their own decisions about their bodies!! I agree with him because no man is going to tell me what I can and cannot do with my body! You may not like his antics, but as a person, he’s a likable guy because he actually cares about women and their rights. Most men don’t like to be told what to do by a woman, right?; put yourself in a woman’s shoes, just once, and ask yourself how you would feel if you were told by your government that you had to get a vasectomy? That you were no longer able to carry a gun to protect your family? Now, imagine your daughter getting raped and being forced to give birth to that rapist’s baby; would you put your daughter through that?
Speaking of keeping your legs closed; How many Vietnamese females were taken advantage of by the men in uniform in Vietnam because men couldn’t keep ‘it’ in their pants? How many of these females were of age? Vietnam Vet 67-68, you as a taxpayer do not pay for abortions – usually, the female comes up with the cash because the male who helped impregnate her claims its not his!! On occasion, the male will help pay but you sir pay nothing! How many Vietnamese girls were left pregnant?

How many children have been killed this year by a parent; I’m not talking about unborn fetuses, I am talking about children? If having an abortion would alleviate a child from being tortured, neglected, or beaten – abortion is the most humane way in preventing this from happening. How many back-alley abortion clinics will pop up in the states who ban abortions altogether; and with that how many females will die from botched abortions or from a partner who doesn’t want a child being born? Abortions should not be used as a form of birth control but even with Plan B and Birth Control pills for both women & men; what is it going to take to get sexually active people to use the forms of birth control that are out there and/or to remain abstinent? When my OB/GYN told me he wasn’t going to write me an Rx for birth control due to my age & because I smoked as it increased my chances of a heart attack & he didn’t want to be held responsible if this was to happen; I told him fine but I am sexually active with my fiancé so if I am to get pregnant, I will hold you responsible & our child will go to college! I got my prescription. I was 35, knew the risks and he wanted to take away my choice. My body, my choice, and why should the Supreme Court Justices be allowed to tell me what I can/cannot do with it? Why is it the ones who wouldn’t have to carry a child, feel they know what is best for the female? It all comes down to male vs. female. I feel that all males starting at age 13, should be put on birth control to take away the onus being put on the females. I feel that any man who rapes a woman should be castrated and has no parental rights should she be impregnated. I feel that any family member who touches another family member in an incestual way should be given a lobotomy. Since the female has all the responsibility to prevent an unwanted pregnancy – no man should have the right to tell her what she can do about it. I think the Supreme Court Justices should leave Roe v. Wade alone and worry about more pressing issues in this world.

No, Howard, the people that want to have abortions should have to raise other peoples children. They should HAVE to adopt them by law.

Howard is right – those who call the shots and in this case the Supreme Court Justices – should have to raise these children that they are so hell bound on keeping and they need to pay all the medical fees involved as well!! Birth control is not 100% and condoms do break; so, a woman who is taking all the precautionary steps to avoid having an unwanted pregnancy should not be forced to have a child. However, men, who tirelessly push for having sex with women, should be forced to take the pill now that there is one for them in order to eliminate many unwanted pregnancies.

While I agree that I do not want ANYONE telling me what I can or can not do with MY body, But what I’m seeing is abortions being just another method of birth control.
The Pill. IUDs. All sorts of PREVENTION. Even condoms! And Planned Parenthood – the same place women go to terminate pregnancies – gives access to every one of these method, most times without charge. .
