Melania Trump copped heat online for her decision to wear a gray tweed coat to Rosalynn Carter’s memorial service in Atlanta—a fashion choice that left her standing out among the other first ladies in attendance, all of whom opted to wear the traditional black.
Melania did appear to be wearing a black dress underneath her overcoat, though she was still blasted online for the unconventional color choice.

I don’t think that Mrs Carter would object to anyone attending her funeral because of the color of coat they were wearing. She was showing respect to Mrs Carter and the family not trying to give the rest of the narrow minded something to talk about. If they were worried about her coat they were attending the funeral for the wrong reason.
Was this a celebration of life of Mrs Carter. Who cares what anybody wears.
Melania is a classy First Lady. Beautiful not only on the inside but outward as well. Her character is impeccable and her modesty is desperately needed today as a model for young women. All you who criticize her fashion choices are narrow minded.
She still looked better, and dressed better than the Amazon who preceded her. And she did not have to hitch a ride on the taxpayers dime like the other two did. Just plain jealously!

Serious?! Serious?! We are getting mad and name calling over a coat? You are just mad because she is so much hotter and more dignified and classy than any of the other people attending that funeral. I have to say, I never really cared for the Bush family but the Republican First Ladies are way better looking than all the Democrat First Ladies.
