Legendary boxer George Foreman — who battled both Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali — is being accused of sexually assaulting two minors at the height of his boxing career.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, two different women are suing the boxer – who is listed in the lawsuits as “Doe 1” – for sexual assault and infliction of emotional distress after accusing him of having sex with them underage. The dueling lawsuits were both filed today in Los Angeles County Courts, accusing the alleged legendary athlete of wrongdoing.
Both lawsuits state that the defendant is a “former professional heavyweight boxer who went professional in 1969. (He) defeated Joe Frazier in 1973 to become the heavyweight champion of the world. He eventually lose (sic) the title to Muhammad Ali in 1974. Doe 1 would be inducted to the World Boxing Hall Of Fame and International Boxing Hall Of Fame.”
Obviously, by the description, it’s George Foreman.
In the first filing, the alleged victim is listed only by her first name but is very specific to the allegations – claiming she was “groomed” as a young girl and assaulted.
The woman claims she is “the daughter of “Charlie,” a boxer based out of Oakland that trained with Doe 1,” and “met (him) when she was approx. 8 years old.”
She accuses him of “grooming (her) at an early age by taking her out for ice cream and allowing her to sit on his lap as Doe 1 drove his car.” The lawsuit claims several years later, the boxer started an inappropriate relationship with her, saying, at “13 years old, Doe 1 called Plaintiff at her home in Hayward, CA and asked if she knows how to masturbate. During the call, Doe 1 gave Plaintiff instructions on how to masturbate herself.”
She continued, “Doe 1 would have sexual intercourse with Plaintiff several times when she was 15 years old.”
It should be noted, that the allegations took place in “the early 1970’s” when the boxer was approximately 23 years old.
Details Of The Alleged Sexual Assaults
The alleged victim is specific about the alleged assaults, saying she was “sexually abused (by him) while staying at a hotel in San Francisco. At the hotel, (she) orally copulated (him) as well as had sexual intercourse.”
As an adult, the woman claims she disclosed the abuse to a friend and business associate of Doe 1 named “Ron.” At the time, she claims Ron told her that he was aware of at least one other victim of the boxer who was also “sexually abused when she was a minor.”
Now, the woman says she didn’t know the other alleged victim, prior to disclosing her own abuse to Ron, but claims he confronted the “Hall Of Fame ” boxer with the allegations of sexually abusing minors…something he “did not deny.”
In the second lawsuit, filed against the same boxer – with the same description – a woman accuses him of similar assaults. The second alleged victim claims at approximately 15-16 years old she was sexually assaulted by the athlete. Specifically, she alleges, “One evening at the Century City Hotel in CA, Doe 1’s cousin gave 15-year-old Plaintiff a phone number to call. When Plaintiff called, she was surprised to learn it was Doe 1’s number. Doe 1 asked (her) to come over to an apartment on Doheny Drive in Beverly Hills. Plaintiff agreed and came over.” She continued, “At the apartment, Doe 1 asked Plaintiff if she knew what the word “platonic” meant. Doe 1 explained to her that the word means having a relationship that doesn’t involve sex and Doe 1 assured Plaintiff that he just wanted a platonic relationship with her. Yet, Doe 1 told Plaintiff not to tell anyone about his relationship with her and followed it up with the veiled threat, “you don’t want your dad to lose his job, do you?”
The following week, the woman claims she was called to come to the same location, saying, “the following week Doe 1 called (her) to come to Doheny Drive apt. This time, Doe 1 threatened that if she didn’t comply, her dad would lose his job. Doe 1 then instructed (her) to remove her clothes. Feeling the duress and coercion of this threat, Plaintiff complied with Doe 1’s commands. Doe 1 then orally copulated her.”
The alleged victim claims she was molested and “sexually abused” until the age of 16 and the situation eventually “escalated to sexual intercourse.”
In this case, the woman claims the same disclosure was made to the boxer’s friend –Ron.
In both lawsuits, the plaintiffs are asking for damages connected to the injuries from the alleged assaults.
George Foreman Breaks His Silence On The Alleged Sexual Assaults
George Foreman is denying the allegations against him and claims the women are just out to get a payday. The boxer issued a statement to TMZ, saying, “Over the past six months, two women have been trying to extort millions of dollars each from me and my family. They are falsely claiming that I sexually abused them over 45 years ago in the 1970s.”
Adding, “I adamantly and categorically deny these allegations. The pride I take in my reputation means as much to me as my sports accomplishments, and I will not be intimidated by baseless threats and lies. I am, and always will be, guided by my faith and trust in God. I will work with my lawyers to fully and truthfully expose my accusers’ scheme and defend myself in court. I don’t pick fights, but I don’t run away from them either.”
The case in ongoing.

True or not true it matters not, but it seems to be a good payday for women that had an opportunity or a chance to be molested by somebody wealthy (see, poverty have some advantages..)
Unless there is a witness, all physical evidences have disappear over the ages, so it basically your word against theirs and either way, their reputation is tainted, specially now that we live in the age of Fairy Tales
