Supermodel Brooks Nader gave fans a terrifying glimpse into a sudden medical emergency after revealing she was rushed to the hospital with severe food poisoning.
The 29-year-old model shared a series of alarming photos on her Instagram Stories, including one taken by a friend that showed her lying motionless on the floor, wrapped in a blanket and unable to move.
The caption painted a grim picture.
“Very touch & go,” it read.
“Food poisoning: 1 Brooksie: 0.”
In another image, Brooks was still wrapped tightly in the same blanket while someone helped her sip a drink, suggesting she was too weak to sit up on her own.
The situation escalated quickly. In a separate photo taken by Brooks herself, an ambulance could be seen waiting outside a plane after she landed. She appeared pale and exhausted, holding a styrofoam cup as paramedics prepared to transport her for treatment.
Despite the scary ordeal, Brooks tried to keep her humor intact, joking in one post, “If you don’t get picked up in an ambulance when u land are you even having fun???”
Severe food poisoning can lead to dehydration, extreme weakness, and dangerous complications if not treated quickly. Based on the images she shared, Brooks’ case was serious enough to require emergency care.
Thankfully, she later updated followers with a reassuring message.
“Made it out alive,” she wrote in a post after being released.
Not long after the health scare, Brooks appeared to be back on her feet, sharing photos and videos from time spent with friends. But the frightening images of her lying helpless on the floor made it clear just how quickly things can take a dangerous turn.
