Brian Austin Green, best known for his role on Beverly Hills, 90210, is on the mend after a health scare landed him in the hospital. On April 14, the actor revealed he underwent emergency surgery for a perforated appendix—and he’s giving high praise to the medical team that took care of him.
“They were fantastic,” he said in a video update. “They got me in right away, got me right into surgery. The aftercare was phenomenal. When I tell you every single person that was there was incredibly kind and loving and supportive and helpful, I mean it—every single person.”
Brian also opened up about the difficulty he had trying to find help before ending up at Providence Cedars-Sinai. He explained that he was turned away from multiple hospitals due to packed emergency rooms before finally being admitted.
Grateful for the care he received, Brian said he felt compelled to go public with his appreciation. “When you find great places with great people, and they work really hard for you, they deserve a shout out,” he said. “So that’s what I’m doing.”
He also gave a direct message to the hospital team: “Everyone at the hospital, thank you so much for everything that you did and taking care of me.”
Fans flooded the comments with support and good wishes. “That is why the others were full,” one user wrote. “It was meant for you to be put in the right hands and with the best care.” Another added, “So glad to hear that you’re on the road to recovery.”
