A frightening car crash involving a vehicle registered to Cincinnati Bengals star Cam Taylor-Britt has resurfaced — and the newly revealed video shows just how close it came to disaster.

Footage from Nov. 15 captures a violent crash on Scott Street in Covington, just across the river from Cincinnati. The video shows a black Jeep registered to Cam Taylor-Britt speeding through an intersection, running a red light, and slamming into a parked red Chevy Cruze. The impact caused the Jeep to flip and land on its roof, sliding out of the camera’s view.

The video surfaced just days after Taylor-Britt completed a five-day jail sentence tied to a separate reckless driving case from September. Despite early assumptions, police later confirmed Taylor-Britt was not driving during the November crash and was listed as a backseat passenger in the vehicle.

A doorbell camera has captured the moment when a car belonging to Cincinnati Bengals star Cam Taylor-Britt flipped in a shocking and terrifying crash. Video from November 15 taken in the 400 block of Scott Street in the Cincinnati suburb of Covington, Kentucky showed a crash involving a parked red car and a black Jeep registered to Taylor-Britt. The video was revealed just days after Taylor-Britt served a five-day jail sentence for a reckless driving incident which occurred in September. However, according to police reports, the cornerback was not driving the vehicle at the time of the November crash and was listed as a backseat passenger. In the footage, the vehicle ran a red light at an intersection before crashing into a parked red Chevy Cruze – causing the Jeep to flip over and land on its roof just out of view of the camera. Covington Police say no one was arrested or charged in connection with the crash: ‘This case was not turned over to any prosecutor’s office because no one committed a crime,’ Captain James Bradbury said (via WKRC Local 12). The day after the November crash, Taylor-Britt suffered a season-ending Lisfranc injury in his foot during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bodycam footage from police at the scene obtained by Local 12 showed there was some confusion over who was actually behind the wheel – with Taylor-Britt and others in the car leaving the scene before authorities could determine who was responsible. Officers responded to the scene to find both vehicles seriously damaged, but with no one inside them. Later in the video, a man approached officers and identified himself as Jafabian Booker and claimed to be the brother of Taylor-Britt. Booker told authorities that while Taylor-Britt owned the vehicle, a woman was driving at the time of the crash. When officers asked for the Bengals star’s whereabouts, Booker said, ‘He wasn’t in here. I had a female in here. She was drunk driving and this happened.’ Booker then said that the woman ‘ran off’ after the crash. Officers noted that the car ‘reeks’ of marijuana and that the woman is ‘supposed to be 5’4″‘ – but was ‘driving the car with the seat all the way back… ain’t no way.’ Police then tracked Taylor-Britt to his home and found him mid-conversation. The Bengals star told officers that he wasn’t driving – and that Booker was. In a conversation captured on bodycam, Booker then admitted to officers that he was in fact the one who was driving. Taylor-Britt appeared to suffer injuries from the crash – with officers finding his shirt torn at his left shoulder and what appeared to be blood. The Bengals star told officers that he wasn’t injured, but was ‘really pissed off’. A day later, his season would come to an end with the aforementioned Steelers injury. Taylor-Britt’s jail sentence stemmed from a separate reckless driving charge from back in September. He pled guilty to reckless driving and driving with a restricted license charges after police previously cited him in June of 2025. At his sentencing hearing for the September incident, Taylor-Britt apologized to the court and said, ‘I plan already to knock out those things that got me into this place, because it is not me, and I don’t want to be here.’ #bengals #cincinnatibengals #camtaylorbritt #carcrash

According to Covington Police, no arrests or charges were filed in connection with the rollover. “This case was not turned over to any prosecutor’s office because no one committed a crime,” Captain James Bradbury told Local 12.

Bodycam footage from responding officers painted a chaotic scene. When police arrived, both vehicles were heavily damaged — but no one was inside either car. Officers noted confusion over who had been driving, as several people from the Jeep had left the scene before responsibility could be determined.

A man later approached officers and identified himself as Jafabian Booker, Taylor-Britt’s brother. Booker initially told police that a woman had been driving and claimed she fled after the crash, saying she had been drunk. Officers, however, expressed skepticism, noting the car smelled strongly of marijuana and that the seat was pushed far back — inconsistent with Booker’s description of the woman.

Police later located Taylor-Britt at his home. He told officers he was not driving and said Booker was behind the wheel. In a subsequent bodycam clip, Booker admitted that he had, in fact, been the driver.

Officers also observed that Taylor-Britt appeared injured following the crash. His shirt was torn near the shoulder, and what looked like blood was visible. Taylor-Britt told police he wasn’t hurt, but said he was “really pissed off.”

Just one day after the crash, Taylor-Britt’s season took a devastating turn. During a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he suffered a Lisfranc foot injury — a serious condition that ultimately ended his season.

The incident added to an already difficult stretch for the Bengals cornerback. His recent jail time stemmed from a separate reckless driving case tied to an incident in September. Taylor-Britt pleaded guilty to reckless driving and driving with a restricted license after being cited earlier in 2025.

At his sentencing, Taylor-Britt apologized to the court and expressed regret, saying he planned to correct the behavior that led him there.
