A shocking arrest has made headlines after the boyfriend of podcaster and reality TV personality Lindsie Chrisley was taken into custody following an alleged violent incident in Georgia.
David Landsman was arrested on April 10 in Cherokee County on charges of misdemeanor battery and felony aggravated assault involving strangulation, according to police records. He has since been released from jail.
Authorities say the incident happened around 1 a.m. at a home in Woodstock, where officers responded to reports of a serious situation.
According to the arrest affidavit, Landsman is accused of putting his hand around a person’s neck and applying pressure while allegedly telling them they were “not going anywhere.” Investigators say the act qualifies as aggravated assault due to the alleged strangulation.
Police also say the situation escalated further when Landsman allegedly pushed the person out of the home, causing them to fall backward and hit their head on concrete. The victim reportedly suffered a head injury and was bleeding from a laceration.
Despite the high-profile attention surrounding the case, authorities have not publicly identified the victim. It remains unclear whether the alleged victim is Lindsie Chrisley or another individual.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing, and prosecutors have not yet formally filed charges.

The arrest has drawn added attention due to Landsman’s connection to Lindsie Chrisley, the daughter of reality TV stars Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley.
