Keith Newman

What started as a typical Disney World line quickly turned into a shocking confrontation — and ended with a flight attendant in handcuffs.

Keith Newman, a 47-year-old British airline worker, was arrested after allegedly pushing a teenage girl during a dispute while waiting for a ride at Magic Kingdom in Orlando. The incident happened on February 20 as guests lined up for the popular Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction.

According to police, the drama began when an 18-year-old girl and her friend tried to move ahead in line, claiming they were just catching up with others in their group. But Newman reportedly wasn’t having it and refused to let them pass.

Things escalated quickly.

Authorities say when the teen attempted to go around him anyway, Newman allegedly shoved her with both hands — causing her to fall backward into her friend. The moment instantly turned a theme park outing into a police matter.

Newman, however, tells a different story. He denied pushing the girl, claiming instead that she walked into his hand during the encounter.

Despite his version of events, police arrested him and charged him with battery. He later pleaded not guilty and was released on $1,000 bail before returning to the United Kingdom.

The teen’s father didn’t hold back when reacting to the incident, calling the alleged behavior “inexcusable” and stressing that there’s no justification for putting hands on someone — especially someone younger.

He also pointed out that his daughter looks even younger than her age, saying there should have been no confusion about the situation.
