A day at the golf course turned into a painful — and oddly unforgettable — moment for one fan at the Cadillac Championship.
During Saturday’s third round at Trump National Doral, pro golfer Nick Taylor sent a tee shot wildly off course on the par-4 second hole — and straight into the crowd.
Slow-motion footage caught the brutal moment the ball dropped out of the sky and nailed a spectator right on the arm… without even bouncing first.
“That might have left a mark,” commentator Curt Byrum said on the broadcast.
He wasn’t kidding.
Cameras zoomed in to show a large red welt quickly forming just above the fan’s elbow — the kind of souvenir nobody wants from a golf tournament.
But instead of getting upset, the fan took it like a champ.
Smiling through the pain, he pointed at the camera and laughed, even joking, “Damn man, that was a bad one!” The crowd loved it, and just like that, he became the unexpected star of the day.

The spectator, who had been walking near the fairway when he got hit, received some attention at the scene but appeared to be okay overall.
As for Taylor, he managed to shake it off and finish the hole with a par. By Saturday afternoon, he was sitting at 8-under, tied for fourth place — still chasing leader Cameron Young.
Believe it or not, moments like this are becoming more common in pro golf. Big names like Scottie Scheffler and Jon Rahm have also accidentally hit spectators in recent tournaments.
The takeaway? Standing close to the fairway might get you a great view… but it can also come with a painful price.
