Former The Only Way Is Essex star Jake Hall has tragically died at the age of 35 following what authorities believe may have been a freak accident during a house party in Spain.
According to reports, Hall was found dead early Wednesday morning at a villa in Majorca after allegedly suffering catastrophic head injuries involving shattered glass.
A police source told British media investigators are currently focusing on the possibility that the reality star accidentally killed himself after smashing into a glass door during a chaotic night of partying.
“It is still too early to say definitely what happened,” the source reportedly said.
Authorities claim witnesses told police Hall had been partying throughout the night before returning to the rental property to continue the gathering.
Investigators reportedly believe Hall may have become increasingly agitated while under the influence of alcohol and possibly other substances.
According to the source, Hall allegedly began acting aggressively and may have tried to hurt himself by banging his head against objects inside the villa.
Police now suspect he may have thrown himself into a glass door, causing it to shatter and leaving him with fatal injuries from broken glass shards.
When officers arrived at the scene, Hall reportedly had severe head wounds believed to have been caused by the shattered glass.
The shocking death came just hours after Hall shared a deeply emotional message on Instagram that many fans are now revisiting.
“Life is bollocks sometimes,” he wrote in what would become his final social media post.
“I’m gonna try remember the good things,” he added. “I’m just making art in many forms.”
Just months earlier, Hall had attended a post-Grammys party where he was photographed alongside Kanye West and Bianca Censori.
At the time, he described the event as “one to remember for sure” and teased “big things to come.”
Hall is best known for appearing on “TOWIE” between 2015 and 2016, where he quickly became a recognizable face on the hit British reality series.
Outside reality television, Hall was also known for his on-and-off relationship with Misse Beqiri, with whom he shared an 8-year-old daughter named River.
Following the heartbreaking news, Beqiri’s representatives released a statement asking for privacy while the family grieves.
“At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this,” the statement read.
“The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately.”
