Catherine, Princess of Wales was reportedly one of the first senior royals to completely ice out Prince Andrew years before his dramatic public downfall became official.
According to royal author Christopher Andersen, the future queen quietly distanced herself from the scandal-plagued duke long before King Charles III stripped him of his royal titles in 2025 amid continued fallout tied to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Andersen claimed Kate refused to interact with Andrew during family events and holidays and allegedly even blocked him from attending her annual Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey.
“She is the first royal to cut him off, to turn her back on him,” the author reportedly said in a recent interview.
According to Andersen, Andrew allegedly tried to attend the high-profile holiday event quietly through a side entrance to avoid cameras, but Kate reportedly shut the idea down immediately.
“He asked, through intermediaries, if he could slip in a side door,” Andersen claimed. “Nope, we don’t want your face on camera.”
The claims paint a picture of a growing divide inside the royal family as concerns over Andrew’s ties to Epstein intensified behind palace walls.
Sources close to the monarchy have long suggested Kate has become increasingly focused on protecting the future image of the royal family alongside husband Prince William, especially as their son Prince George of Wales remains second in line to the throne.
Andersen argued that Kate viewed Andrew’s presence at royal functions as a serious liability that could further damage the monarchy’s reputation.
Andrew’s spectacular fall from grace reached a new level in October 2025 when King Charles officially removed his royal titles and duties following years of scandal and public backlash.
At the time, Buckingham Palace released a statement emphasizing support for victims and survivors of abuse, a move widely seen as the royal family drawing a firm line between itself and the disgraced duke.
The decision reportedly had strong support from both William and Kate as senior royals worked to distance the institution from the controversy once and for all.
Meanwhile, Andrew reportedly faced another frightening moment this week after an alarming security scare near the Sandringham estate.
According to reports, the duke was walking his dogs near Wolferton, Norfolk, when a masked man allegedly ran toward him while shouting aggressively. Sources claimed the individual emerged from a nearby vehicle and charged toward Andrew’s car before police stepped in.
One source alleged the incident left Andrew “extremely disturbed” and reignited fears over his safety after losing publicly funded police protection in 2022.
Norfolk Police later confirmed an arrest had been made on suspicion of a public order offense and possession of an offensive weapon. Authorities said the incident is not currently being treated as terrorism-related.

Who gives a royal schitt!
For the rest of his days on earth, may his life be as miserable and full of fear as the young women’s lives were he abused. May he repent and make the Lord Jesus Christ his Savior, or his eternity is gonna be mighty horrific. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God!
