David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife, Pamela Bach, has tragically died by suicide at the age of 62 inside her Hollywood Hills home, valued at $2.2 million.
According to reports, Bach’s family discovered her on March 5 at her Los Angeles property with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Paramedics later pronounced her dead at the scene.
Law enforcement sources revealed that her loved ones became concerned after not hearing from her and decided to check on her. Upon arriving, they found the home locked, and no note was left behind.
Hasselhoff, 72, confirmed the heartbreaking news in a statement, saying, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time, but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
Bach, who was married to Hasselhoff for 17 years, shared two daughters with the actor—Hayley, 32, and Taylor, 34. While neither has publicly commented, Taylor shared a throwback photo of their mother on social media, accompanied by a white heart emoji.
The actress had lived in her Hollywood Hills home for over a decade, purchasing the property in 2009 for $1.3 million, three years after her divorce from Hasselhoff. Over the years, she often posted pictures from the house, including festive moments spent with her family.
Bach and Hasselhoff’s marriage, which began in 1989 after meeting on the set of “Knight Rider,” ended in a highly publicized divorce in 2006. Their split was marred by disputes over spousal support, and in 2007, Bach spoke candidly about Hasselhoff’s struggles with alcohol, which she cited as a factor in their breakup.

In addition to her high-profile marriage, Bach made a name for herself in Hollywood, starring in hit TV shows like “Baywatch,” where she played Kaye Morgan, as well as roles in “Sirens,” “The Young and the Restless,” and “T.J. Hooker.”
Despite never remarrying after her divorce, Bach embraced a new chapter in her life last year when she became a grandmother. In August 2024, her daughter Taylor welcomed a baby girl, London. Bach shared her joy on Instagram, calling her granddaughter a “stunning, beautiful, perfect angel.”
