Ariana Grande is once again under threat from ISIS extremists as she prepares for an emotional return to Manchester later this summer—her first performance there since the tragic 2017 bombing that killed 22 concertgoers.

According to RadarOnline.com, multiple death threats have surfaced in encrypted online forums, with one shocking message reading, “She needs to die.” The threats, shared on apps like Telegram—known to be used by extremist groups—allegedly detail possible methods for a new attack aimed at Grande’s upcoming headlining slot at Manchester Pride on August 25.

The 31-year-old pop star is expected to draw thousands of fans to the 9,000-capacity venue, where she’ll perform songs from her latest album and celebrate her role in the highly anticipated Wicked film.

Security officials are not taking any chances. Organizers are rolling out a “ring of steel” plan around the venue, with high-level police presence, advanced crowd screening, and strict bag policies. Sources close to the event confirmed the measures are in direct response to the recent threats.

“Security will be massive at this festival due to the dangers posed by fanatics,” one insider revealed. “ISIS and other extremists know targeting an Ariana Grande show again would dominate headlines—and the fact that it’s a Pride festival makes it even more of a target in their eyes.”

The attack at Grande’s 2017 concert in the Manchester Arena remains one of the most devastating acts of terror in recent U.K. history. The bomber, 22-year-old Salman Abedi, carried out a suicide attack just as fans were exiting the venue. His younger brother Hashem Abedi was later extradited from Libya and convicted for helping plan the massacre.

Grande, who was visibly shaken in the aftermath, organized the One Love Manchester benefit concert just weeks later, raising millions for victims’ families and first responders. She was also made an honorary citizen of Manchester.

“She’d be devastated to know she’s still being targeted,” a source said. “Ariana will definitely be taking all precautions and relying heavily on her security team to identify any red flags.”

The upcoming performance will mark her first in the U.K. since 2019. In a recent interview, the Grammy-winning singer expressed her desire to reconnect with fans and resume live shows after Wicked hits theaters.

Despite the threats, fans remain hopeful the show will go on—both as a celebration of resilience and a tribute to a city that will never forget.
