Anna Grace Phelan, a rising social media star from Georgia, has passed away at just 19 years old after a short but brave battle with brain cancer.
The TikTok creator, known for documenting her fight with stage 4 glioblastoma, died on May 23. Her heartfelt and faith-filled journey touched nearly 145,000 followers who watched her face one of life’s toughest battles with grace and strength.
Anna Grace began experiencing symptoms like facial numbness, slurred speech, and blurred vision shortly before she was set to start college. Doctors diagnosed her with glioblastoma in 2024—a rare and aggressive brain cancer that affects roughly 12,000 Americans each year.
Her family announced the heartbreaking news in a post on her TikTok account. “It is with great sadness to announce that our beautiful daughter, Anna Grace Phelan, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” wrote her mother, Nadine. “So many of you have followed her journey through a difficult battle with cancer and bore witness to her powerful testimony of faith.”
Born in Orlando, Florida, in 2005, Anna Grace graduated from Jefferson High School last year and had been working as a receptionist at Georgia Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Dermatology. She was deeply involved with the Galilee Christian Church, attending youth group events and church camps that helped shape her faith.
Tributes have poured in from friends, fans, and total strangers. One follower wrote, “I didn’t know Anna Grace personally, but her life and faith deeply touched mine… Watching her walk through suffering with such grace and peace truly changed me.” Another commenter shared, “Your sweet girl touched this stranger’s heart tremendously.”
Her funeral is scheduled for May 29 at Galilee Christian Church. Her family has asked for donations to be made in her honor to The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. A GoFundMe page launched during her treatment has already raised over $66,000.
