On Wednesday, Aug. 13, the 43-year-old Princess of Wales shared a new installment of her “Mother Nature” series on her official social media accounts, pairing a soothing voiceover with a montage of summer scenes — buzzing bees, lush gardens, children laughing and playing.
Her caption, signed “C” for Catherine, read: “Our lives flourish when we cherish the bonds of love and friendship. It has never been more important to appreciate the value of one another and of Mother Nature. Here’s to Summer.”
In the video, Kate reflects on the season’s abundance. “Just as the flowers bloom and the fruits ripen, we too are reminded of our own potential for growth,” she says. “It is the time to ignite our inner fire and explore our creativity, passions and dreams.” She goes on to encourage viewers to savor shared moments: “Friends and families come together — playing, connecting, being present, embracing joy in even the most fleeting moments. Open your hearts, sing, dance, play. The days are still long, so simply love and be loved.”
Currently, Kate is enjoying her summer break away from the spotlight with Prince William and their children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7. While their exact plans remain private, she has previously shared that her favorite family moments happen outdoors, “in the countryside… all filthy dirty.”
The Wales family last appeared together publicly at Trooping the Colour on June 14, followed by the Wimbledon men’s singles final on July 13 with George and Charlotte, and a trip with Charlotte to Switzerland for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 final on July 27.
