Ryan Seacrest has fans buzzing heading into the new year after admitting he’s feeling a little extra romantic — so much so that he joked he’s “tempted to propose” on New Year’s Eve.
The longtime TV host, 51, made the playful comment during a live appearance on Good Morning America on Tuesday, Dec. 30, while promoting his annual hosting duties for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
While chatting with the ABC hosts, Seacrest was asked about the most romantic moments he’s witnessed over the years during the iconic New Year’s broadcast — a show famously known for surprise proposals and first kisses.
“I’m always tempted to propose on New Year’s Eve,” Seacrest joked, drawing laughs in the studio.
He went on to tease that viewers can expect another love-filled story during this year’s special, noting that New Year’s Eve often brings big romantic milestones like engagements and first dates.
The comment quickly reignited speculation about Seacrest’s love life. He has recently been rumored to be dating Australian real estate mogul Camille Orders, 31, after the two were spotted together earlier this year. The pair were also seen strolling through Rome with Seacrest’s dog, fueling further buzz.
Orders began her career in Australia before relocating to Los Angeles, where she lived for several years. She now reportedly resides in a $2.5 million loft in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighborhood, which she frequently rents out for events, photoshoots, and video productions.
Seacrest’s rumored romance comes about a year after his split from model Audrey Paige. The two ended their relationship in April 2024 after three years together. A source told People at the time that the former couple planned to remain “good friends.”
Over the years, Seacrest has been linked to several high-profile relationships, including model Shayna Taylor, whom he dated on and off starting in 2013, and Julianne Hough, with whom he had a three-year relationship from 2010 to 2013.
In recent months, the media mogul has also sparked concern among fans over his noticeably slimmer appearance during TV appearances. Seacrest has addressed the speculation, saying his weight loss is the result of a Mediterranean-style diet and a disciplined workout routine that includes Pilates and strength training.
Still, some fans worry he may be overworking himself. In addition to his radio empire and New Year’s Eve hosting gig, Seacrest took on another major role last year when he became the new host of Wheel of Fortune, stepping in after longtime host Pat Sajak’s retirement.

Best wishes Ryan from a Charleston Boy.
