Prince Andrew is once again facing renewed scrutiny after previously unseen images surfaced in the latest release of Jeffrey Epstein files made public by the U.S. Department of Justice.

The photos, included in the newly unsealed materials, appear to show the Duke of York kneeling on all fours over a fully clothed, unidentified woman. In one image, Andrew appears to be leaning over her with a hand placed on her stomach. In another, he is shown hovering nearby on his hands and knees.

The woman’s face has been blacked out, and the Justice Department did not provide details about when or where the images were taken, leaving key questions unanswered.

The image release was accompanied by newly disclosed emails that reference a contact listed as “The Duke,” widely believed to be Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. The correspondence has reignited attention on his long-documented association with Epstein.

Epstein, the disgraced financier who died by suicide in 2019, pleaded guilty in 2008 to solicitation of prostitution, including with a minor. He served time in a minimum-security prison followed by house arrest before resuming contact with powerful figures.

According to the emails, Epstein later reached out to Andrew seeking “private time” during a visit to London. Andrew reportedly responded by offering a private dinner at Buckingham Palace, writing that there would be “lots of privacy.” It remains unclear whether that meeting ever took place.

Two days later, the pair were reportedly back in contact. Epstein mentioned that Ghislaine Maxwell was with him and asked Andrew about his plans. Andrew replied by outlining a busy schedule, including lunch with a Saudi prince and a visit to a secret intelligence firm, before again inviting Epstein and his companions to Buckingham Palace later that day.

Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing connected to Epstein.

He stepped back from public royal duties in 2019 following a disastrous BBC interview in which he attempted to explain his relationship with Epstein. His ties to the financier had already drawn international attention due to allegations made by Virginia Giuffre, who claimed she was trafficked by Epstein and forced to have sex with Andrew when she was 17. Andrew has repeatedly denied those claims.

In January 2022, Queen Elizabeth II stripped Andrew of his military titles and royal patronages after a judge refused to dismiss Giuffre’s civil lawsuit. The case was later settled out of court for an undisclosed sum, though Andrew admitted no liability.

The newly released images and emails add fresh fuel to a scandal that has already left a lasting shadow over Andrew’s reputation — and are likely to intensify public and legal scrutiny as more Epstein-related materials continue to emerge.
