King Charles is facing renewed scrutiny after newly surfaced emails suggest he was warned years ago about his brother Prince Andrew’s alleged business dealings — long before the latest scandal exploded.

According to a report from the Mail on Sunday, a whistleblower contacted Charles in August 2019, when he was still Prince of Wales, through the royal law firm Farrer & Co. The message reportedly raised red flags about Andrew’s ties to controversial financier David Rowland.

The email allegedly referenced what it called “David Rowland’s abuse of the Royal Family” and claimed Andrew appeared to value his relationship with the businessman “more important than that of his family.”

The resurfaced warning comes amid fresh legal turmoil for Andrew, who was recently arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He was later released under investigation and has not been formally charged. The alleged offense carries a potential maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

The whistleblower reportedly claimed Rowland paid Andrew to help secure a Luxembourg banking license for Banque Havilland, a private bank tied to the Rowland family. The email allegedly included what were described as Andrew’s bank account details. Rowland has denied any wrongdoing.

Jonathan Rowland told the Mail on Sunday he had “no idea” about the email sent to Charles and dismissed the allegations as based on “stolen emails” that were previously reported. “You can’t procure a banking licence, that’s an idiotic suggestion,” he said, adding that he had “no recollection” of a separate email tied to Prince William’s wedding.

The report also claims Andrew once referred to Rowland as his “trusted money man” in communications with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. It further alleges that Rowland and his son accompanied Andrew on overseas trips during his time as a UK trade envoy between 2001 and 2011.

During that period, Andrew allegedly flagged business opportunities for the Rowlands linked to official visits in countries including China and former Soviet states. One claim suggests a trade mission was used to help associates pursue a lucrative oil deal in China, allegedly with hopes of major profits.

Another reported email states Andrew had a “very supportive chat” with then-Prime Minister David Cameron and Labour leader Ed Miliband during Prince William’s 2011 wedding, at a time when scrutiny over Andrew’s role as trade envoy was intensifying following publication of the now-infamous photo of him with Virginia Giuffre when she was 17.

The Mail on Sunday also reported that Andrew invited Jonathan Rowland to Buckingham Palace for a meeting attended by the UK ambassador to Montenegro, allegedly in support of business ambitions. Emails cited in the report describe diplomats offering commercial assistance and making introductions through British embassies.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed they are contacting current and former protection officers who worked closely with Andrew to determine whether anything they witnessed may be relevant to the ongoing investigation.

A Buckingham Palace source said it would not be appropriate to comment due to the active police probe and added that any relevant information should be shared with authorities.

Political pressure is mounting. Defence minister Luke Pollard said removing Andrew from the line of succession would be “the right thing to do.” High-profile attorney Gloria Allred told the BBC that members of the Royal Family should fully cooperate with investigators if asked.

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp called the allegations “shocking, but not surprising,” while Shadow Foreign Secretary Priti Patel described them as “horrific.” Reform UK’s Robert Jenrick said “no stone must be left unturned.”

Andrew has consistently denied wrongdoing as the investigation continues.

  1. On a family basis, Chuck should have just slapped the s#!t out of Andy numerous times for all the crap he pulled as the big-brother in the family. At least that would have happened in a normal family.
But then, the Royals have always been “Abby-Normal”.
And Chuck is a wussie !
