Rosalía gave fans everything she had in Milan — but this time, even a superstar couldn’t push through the pain.

The singer was forced to cut her concert short on Wednesday after battling what she described as severe food poisoning. And while many artists might have canceled before even stepping onstage, Rosalía still tried to give fans a show.

According to reports, the Con Altura hitmaker had already been vomiting backstage before the performance at Italy’s Unipol Forum. Still, she went out in front of the crowd and tried to keep going, even as she made it clear something was seriously wrong.

In an emotional moment during the show, Rosalía told fans she had been sick from the very beginning and was doing everything she could to continue.

She explained that she wanted to give the audience the best performance possible, but admitted she was in real pain and physically struggling to stay on her feet. She said she would keep pushing as much as she could, but warned that if her body gave out, the show might have to stop.

And eventually, it did.

The concert reportedly ended after 11 songs — far shorter than her usual set — but fans still praised her for even trying to perform under those conditions.

Many took to social media to applaud her effort, with some saying they could see she looked pale and sick, while others said they were amazed she managed to do as much as she did.

For longtime fans, the moment was especially shocking because reports say it marked the first time Rosalía has ever canceled a performance due to illness.

Now, supporters are hoping she gets the rest she needs before the next stop on her Lux Tour, which is scheduled to hit Madrid on March 30.
