Former NFL player turned sports media personality Marcellus Wiley is facing a growing wave of disturbing sexual assault allegations after multiple women accused him in a newly reported lawsuit filed in New York.

According to a report from Rolling Stone, Wiley has now been accused of sexual assault by four different individuals, including a former ESPN production assistant.

The lawsuit reportedly outlines allegations spanning years of Wiley’s football and broadcasting career, with some claims dating back to the 1990s when he attended Columbia University.

Three of the women had previously filed lawsuits accusing Wiley of rape, with the earliest allegation dating back to 1994. One lawsuit was first filed in 2023, while two additional accusers reportedly came forward in 2025.

Wiley’s attorneys denied the allegations in a 2024 court filing, and the former NFL player publicly dismissed the original lawsuit as “BS” the year before.

But the newest filing reportedly expands the accusations significantly.

According to Rolling Stone, the lawsuit also accuses Columbia University of allegedly concealing “the rapes by Wiley,” claiming the school’s actions helped him maintain “a reputation of safety, respect, and integrity,” while allegedly putting other women at risk.

One of the most shocking allegations involves a woman who claims Wiley began “grooming” her when she was just 13 years old before an alleged sexual encounter years later while he was playing in the NFL.

Another accuser claims Wiley assaulted her during encounters in California between 1995 and 1999.

The former ESPN production assistant also detailed a disturbing allegation in the complaint, claiming Wiley invited her to his hotel room in 2009 under the pretense of discussing work matters.

According to the lawsuit, she believed she was attending a professional meeting before the situation allegedly became sexual and non-consensual.

Another woman alleges Wiley began communicating with her while he played for the Buffalo Bills between 1997 and 1999.

She claims he gave her free tickets, gifts, and his email address, while allegedly referring to her as “little momma.” The woman further alleges Wiley invited her to his home in Orchard Park, New York, to help organize his CD collection.

The lawsuit claims Wiley later flew her to Dallas in 2004 while he was playing for the Dallas Cowboys before allegedly shouting at her and raping her.

Wiley rose to football stardom after earning All-American honors at Columbia before being selected in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft.

During his NFL career, he played for the Buffalo Bills, San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, and Jacksonville Jaguars before transitioning into sports media roles with ESPN and Fox Sports.

The allegations remain accusations, and Wiley has denied previous claims against him. The reported lawsuit remains ongoing.5frt
