What was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation in Cancun, Mexico, quickly became a horrifying ordeal when 19-month-old Sienna-Rose suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage.

Natasha Sargeant, 31, was vacationing with her partner Liam Millen, 39, and their children—Harry, 13, Liam, 11, and Sienna-Rose—when the unthinkable happened. Their youngest child collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, according to The Echo.

The family, from Liverpool, England, is now desperately waiting for Sienna-Rose’s condition to stabilize before they can return home.

“I don’t have any words to describe what we have been through – it’s been absolutely horrific,” Sargeant told The Echo.

Sienna-Rose’s aunt, Amy McFadden, launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover medical expenses, writing, “My niece, Sienna-Rose, who is 19 months old, sadly ended up in the hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage and swelling on the brain. She underwent major life-saving surgery.”

The situation has only become more dire. According to McFadden, the hospital is running low on medicine, making it difficult for Sienna-Rose to receive the care she needs.

Adding to the family’s distress, the British Embassy advised that a medical flight home would be the safest option—but they would have to cover the cost themselves. The estimated price? A staggering $58,000.

A heartbreaking update on the fundraiser shared that after undergoing a grueling three-and-a-half-hour surgery to remove a blood clot, Sienna-Rose developed an infection and has been struggling to recover.

“Unfortunately, things don’t seem to be getting better for little Sienna,” the update read. “She doesn’t seem to be getting any better from the infection. The hospital she is in is not giving her the antibiotics as and when she needs them and only giving them to her sparingly.”

The toddler, who was once a bright and happy child, is now unable to drink, sit up without help, or find relief from her pain.

Sargeant recounted the terrifying moment when her daughter first collapsed.

“She dropped to the floor like she was having a seizure, then started constantly vomiting,” she said.

Racing against time, the family rushed her to the nearest hospital, only to be turned away due to an upfront payment requirement. They then drove 30 minutes to another hospital, but the CT machine was broken.

Finally, at a third hospital, doctors confirmed the worst: Sienna-Rose had suffered a brain hemorrhage, causing her brain to swell to twice its normal size.

Shockingly, doctors told Sargeant that the blood clot had likely been present for months.

“It’s been absolutely horrendous,” she said. “She is the most happy, lovely little baby. To see her like this is absolutely horrendous. I would never wish what we are going through on anyone.”

As the family continues to fight for Sienna-Rose’s recovery and a way to bring her home, the GoFundMe page has become their only hope for financial support. Click HERE for GoFundMe page.
