A normal morning at a café turned into a nightmare when a man walked in and suddenly launched a knife attack—then shockingly sat down and waited for police like nothing happened.
The chilling moment was caught on surveillance video inside The Deli café. The footage shows a man in his 50s casually entering the shop before approaching a younger customer who was just sitting and eating.
Without warning, he lunged and stabbed the man in the chest.
But what happened next left everyone stunned.
Instead of backing down, the victim jumped up and fought back, throwing punches as the attacker stumbled toward the counter. In a split-second act of courage, a staff member rushed in and managed to rip the knife out of the suspect’s hand.
Even after being stabbed, the victim stayed on his feet and helped stop the attacker from getting away.
Then came the most bizarre part.
The suspect simply sat down at a table and waited for police to arrive.

Officers from Greater Manchester Police responded around 10:30 a.m., finding two men with stab wounds. Both are believed to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was arrested at the scene and remains in custody as investigators work to figure out what led to the attack.
The café later praised the customer who stepped in, calling him a hero and even offering him free meals for life. They also reassured the public that staff were safe, though the business closed for the rest of the day.
The incident has rattled the local community, with some residents saying violence in the area has been on the rise. Police were still canvassing the neighborhood the next day, going door-to-door as the investigation continues.
