The family of beloved TV legend Peter Falk is facing another heartbreaking loss.

Jacqueline Falk, the actor’s daughter, has died at the age of 60, according to reports. Her passing was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Jacqueline was one of two daughters adopted by Falk and his first wife, Alyce Mayo, after their marriage in 1960. While she largely stayed out of the spotlight, she remained part of a family tied to one of television’s most iconic figures.

The tragic news comes years after the death of her father, who passed away in 2011 following a battle with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Falk was best known for his role as the rumpled but brilliant detective Lieutenant Columbo in the long-running NBC series Columbo, a performance that made him a household name. Over the course of his career, he also earned two Academy Award nominations for his roles in Murder, Inc. and Pocketful of Miracles.

In recognition of his legacy, Falk was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013 and was later named one of TV Guide’s 50 greatest TV stars of all time.

Jacqueline’s passing adds another layer of sorrow to a family already marked by loss. Further details surrounding her death have not been publicly disclosed.
